Wage: $30.00CAD/hour

Hours: 40-50 hours/week

Job Duties:
• Shape, fabricate, adapt or fix metal components, and structural parts to attain specific fits.
• Read and interpret project plans, diagrams, and written instructions to successfully perform the required assignments.
• Perform metal inert gas (MIG), tungsten inert gas (TIG), and stick welding according to project needs.
• Coordinate with the fleet shop crew for the maintenance/ repair of vehicles, machinery, structures and farm equipment.
• De-bur and grind metal to achieve proper specifications.
• Conduct regular safety inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Education/Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of level 2 or level 3 MIG/MAG diploma

• Experience with TiG, MiG, and stick welding equipment.
