Job Summary:

Tundra Technical Solutions (TUNDRA), a leading provider of professional IT services, is looking for a results-driven Team Lead- Accounting to be responsible for managing a key function within the organization.

Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Being the primary point of contact for team members;
• Maintaining regular trackers for each team process;
• Responsible for allocating, managing the working division and ensuring everyone meets the TAT (Turnaround time);
• Maintaining a quality checklist for each process in the team;
• Recording and participating in training sessions for team members' reference;
• Creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for each division;
• The maintenance of a backup plan for each team member to ensure continuity of work;
• Coordinating management announcements with the team;
• Meetings with group members and individuals to improve processes;
• Identifying the areas requiring improvement within the team and working on them;
• Assuring the team's well-being;
• Creating a friendly work environment;
• Reporting all team processes to management monthly;
• Communication with management on any additional improvements that can be made in the team monthly;
• Presenting a PowerPoint presentation on team activities (at year's end);
• Promoting a healthy work environment among team members;
• Keeping management informed of team requirements regularly;
• Conducting a screening program to select the most valuable assets for the team;
• Creating billing instructions based on the Market Service Agreement (MSA) and Placement Service Agreement (PSA) of the client;
• Maintaining the billing contact tracker for new hires according to the client's instructions;
• Following up with the account manager regarding missing billing documents; and
• Maintaining billing terms (due dates) for each client.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in accounts management, team leadership, and client management, specializing in US and Canadian markets.
• Proven track record in managing offshore accounting teams, ensuring accurate billing and invoicing processes.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Alpha Hire, Bullhorn, QuickBooks (QB), advanced Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
• Extensive experience in client management, creating billing instructions, managing client contracts, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Proficient in passing journal entries, accruals, reversals, and month-end closing.
• Experience submitting invoices through various VMS portals (Enverus, Honda, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Fieldglass, Pinnacle, PeopleSoft, IQ Navigator, Beeline, Pfizer, Alpha Hire, Spring Ahead, Job Diva, Bullhorn, etc.).
• Strong background in US and Canadian accounting processes, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
• Skilled in project management, successfully leading accounting teams and ensuring timely, accurate deliverables.
• Leadership experience in managing teams, mentoring junior staff, and conducting Performance Growth Plans (PGP) for team members.
• Collaboration across departments to achieve project goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing client inquiries and internal reporting.
• Adaptable to various working environments, willing to travel regularly, including cross-border and international travel.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced settings, meeting tight deadlines, and open to relocation.
• Detail-oriented team player, committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to handle financial reporting, billing, and administrative functions with precision and reliability.
