M Moser Associates is hiring a Senior Interior Designer to be based in our Toronto office and join our team to support a fast-growing portfolio of workplace projects. our growing Workplace Technology team.

Job title: Senior Interior Designer
Job type: full-time and permanent, 40 hours per week
Base pay range: CAD$100,000 /yr – CAD$ 110,000/yr

Responsibilities
Responsible for space planning and workplace interior designing.
Consult with clients to establish design concepts and parameters, including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic preferences.
Set the direction and tell the story of the design, working closely with Project Lead to refine and augment.
Generate conceptual designs using a variety of graphic techniques, including hand-drawn and computer-generated visuals, and work with Project Manager to align design complexity with target budget.
Prepare and pitch winning design solutions to M Moser’s clients, continuously using your one-of-kind talent and admirable work ethic to help bring in new business and/or encourages repeat business.
Monitor and maintain a high level of design quality within the project team, including mentoring and coaching junior designers to enhance teamwork and skill-building.
Work with the project leader, team leader, and or project manager to maintain project schedules with appropriate support.
Collaborate with Strategy team, Global colleagues, and local team to deliver design and workspace that establishes and maintains trust to further the relationship of our clients.
Produce 3D model and development of design documentation drawing set.
Lead the research and specification of products, furniture and finishes, fixtures and fittings.
Perform additional responsibilities necessary to help achieve business and/or project goals

Qualifications
8+ years of experience in workplace interior design or architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or another related field preferred.
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign, Enscape are added advantage.
A portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including some large workplace transformation projects.
Experience and confidence in creating and delivering design pitches to corporate clients that win business.
Exceptional client management and project delivery abilities, effectively contributing to multiple projects at the same time.
Experience and expertise in maintaining design integrity from design concept to on-site construction
A good level of technical skill with attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, especially on work for pitches.
Confidence to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal.
