ITPS specializes in flight test training and consulting services. Specifically, ITPS offers a range of training courses for Test Pilots and Flight Test Engineers. ITPS has an established track record of providing cost-effective flight test training to air forces and civilian industries around the world. The training reflects lessons learned during many years of flight-testing airplanes and helicopters for manufacturers, as well as military and civilian institutions. Duties:
• Working in a closely integrated team to provide contracted flight test services;
• Supporting the company’s flight test projects;
• Developing the company’s courses;
• Providing ground school lectures on a relevant subject;
• Providing data analysis tutorials;
• Participating in internal projects to modify ITPS’ growing fleet of test aircraft;
• Providing airborne and classroom instruction;
• Mentoring student test pilots and flight test engineers;
• Occasional travel abroad required to support company projects.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school and graduation from a certified flying or aviation school are required.
• Graduate of a graduate flight test engineer course from a recognized institution;
• 5+ years of Flight Test Program experience;
• Ability to travel and spend periods abroad working on flight test related projects;
• Previous instructional experience is an asset;
• A commercial pilot's or an air transport pilot's licence is required.
• Transport Canada ratings and endorsements to provide instructions on different types of aircraft are required.
