2468677 Ontario Inc. is an international trading company importing dried seafood and other dried food products from Southeast Asia and wholesale and distribution in GTA.

We have an immediate opening position for a talented and experienced Purchasing Officer to join us.
Location: Unit 22, 328 Passmore Ave., Toronto ON, M1V5J5
Type: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: 7 hours per day and 35 hours per week
Salary: $32.00-$37.00/hour
Main Duties:
• Purchase dried seafood and other dried food products and assure their delivery and quality.
• Seek new suppliers and new products to meet new market demands.
• Assesses the upcoming demands and makes detailed purchasing plans.
• Determine and negotiate contract terms and conditions and manage contracts.
• Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress, review status of shipped orders and back orders, and contact suppliers to resolve problems.
• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and evaluate their bids on price, delivery dates, and past performance.
• Analyze, evaluate and optimize purchasing procedure and cost control.
Requirements：
• 5+ years of purchasing experience in the same industry is required.
• Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, and policies.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Excellent negotiation and communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Willingness to travel to Southeast Asia.
• Proficient in in Cantonese.
