Production Workers

Original Foods Limited is a privately owned food manufacturer operating a 216,000 square foot facility where we co-pack, manufacture private label products, and produce goods under our own brands. We create a wide range of products including syrups, confectionery, bakery ingredients, sauces, broth, beverages, and condiments. Our plant holds multiple certifications and offers extensive production capabilities, including Organic, Kosher Pareve and Dairy, Peanut-Free, and Vegan certifications.

The following opportunity is available:

Production Workers (12 positions)

• Process raw ingredients and move throughout the warehouse and production area;
• Wash and clean raw ingredients and materials for production;
• Clean raw ingredients and materials and feed to processing machines for mixing;
• Assist machine operators in ensuring machine specifications are set accordingly based on product verifications;
• Pack produces into bags, jars, and other containers and organize by product;
• Clean work areas and equipment;
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, if necessary.

Requirements

• No formal education required;
• Minimum six (6) months of experience as a labourer in the food or beverage manufacturing industry;
• Good English communication skills;
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-demand environment;
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends.

Compensation

• This is a full-time, temporary position with at least 40 hours of work per week;
• Starting salary range from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience;
• Overtime rate applies after 44 hours of work per week;
