We, 88 Supermarket Ltd. are looking for 2 experienced Full-Time & Permanent Produce Supervisors to assist with our growing business.

Wage & Benefits: $22.60/hr, based on 30 hrs/wk, with 4% paid vacation
Overtime: Overtime is provided after 8hrs/day, or 40hrs/wk
Work Setting: Supermarket, Grocery
Work Location: 4801 Victoria Dr, Vancouver, BC V5P 4P3
Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school
-At least 1-2 years of experience in related field
Job Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate staffs
- Assign staffs to duties and prepare work schedules
- Ensure that all produce is fresh, properly labeled, and priced accurately
- Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and other corporate initiatives
- Remain current with weekly and in-store specials
- Stock and organize produce displays in an attractive and appealing manner
- Assist customers in selecting high-quality produce and provide information on different varieties
- Handle issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Supervise for proper product rotation and removal of expired one
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce department
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of produce supplies, checking for quality and accuracy
- Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
