Position: Primary Child Caregiver
Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent
Location of work: Windsor, Ontario – 2 locations within the Riverside area

Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $18.00 CAD per hour

Job description:
• Help bathe, dress and feed the children;
• Take children to and from appointments and other events;
• Occasionally take children between parents’ homes;
• Supervise and care for up to five children in employers residence;
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children;
• Maintain safe and healthy environment in the home;
• Attend to emotional well-being of children;
• Organize and participate in activities and outings to provide amusement and exercise;
• Perform light housekeeping duties; and
• Occasionally travel with family.

Work experience:
• Completion of High School is required;
• Minimum 1 year of experience taking care of children;
• Experience working with children under 12 years of age is an asset;
• Client focus, flexible and effective interpersonal skills;
• Reliable and has excellent communication skills;
• Must speak English;
• First Aid and CPR certification are an asset; and
• Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed.
