ABOUT POSITION
At this time, we are looking for a skilled painter. In this position, you will be required to work independently and with a team to complete various projects involving a variety of materials from start to finish. Main duties, which you will have to perform in this position, are:
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
• Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 6 months of experience as a painter and good experience working with various hand and power tools and equipment
· Must have secondary school diploma
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade plans, maps, drawings, and specifications
· Team player, client focused and flexible
· Ability to handle heavy loads as work is physically demanding
· Good English skills

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
· Permanent, full-time position
· $25.00 per hour
· 30-40 hours of work per week
· Overtime pay
