Nanny

A Vancouver family is looking for an outgoing, fun, and caring person to look after two young children.

Job type: Full-time, permanent.
Working hours: 40 hours per week; approximate schedule of hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm.
Salary: $18/hourly.
Start date of employment: As soon as possible.

Job Description
- Supervise and care for 6-year-old and 8-year-old children in the family’s residence.
- Bathe, dress, plan, prepare and serve meals for children.
- Oversee children’s activities, such as meals, outdoor & indoor activities, and rest periods.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Organize activities such as games, reading, and outings for the children.
- Pick up and drop off children at school and accompany children to various appointments.
- Maintain a healthy environment in the home.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Light housekeeping and laundry as time permits.

Requirement for candidate
- Some secondary school education is preferred.
- At least 1-year work experience/training as a caregiver/nanny.
- Good knowledge of CPR & First Aid is an asset.
- Have sufficient English fluency in communicating effectively.
- No Criminal Record (Criminal record will be checked thoroughly)
