We are the all-in one shop clients can trust to deliver solutions with great results. We have in house engineering, CNC and manual machining, fabricating and installation services.
In a trade where the learning never stops, we can provide over a hundred training videos and a diverse array of fabrication and machining equipment in our shop to provide people with the experience they need to expand their skillsets at a fast pace.

Job details
• Location: 1125 Colborne St E, Brantford, ON, N3S 0H4
• Salary: 32.86 hourly; 35 to 40 hours per Week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Must be available to work Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Shift, Weekend and holidays.

Education: Not necessary. High School is an asset.
Experience: 2 years or more experience in Millwrighting or Industrial Mechanical Service experience.

Skills and Responsibilities
Tasks
• Installing, maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing production equipment in a variety of manufacturing industries, such as Food, Automotive, Pulp and Paper, and Recycling.
• Rigging including safe load securing, lifting, and handling using lift trucks and cranes. Mainly using 5-8k lift trucks on site Max lift of 80000lbs using cranes and Versa lifts.
• Laying out, fitting, welding (MIG and TIG) and custom fabrications.
• Design and fabrication of one-off pieces independently through the interpretation of blueprints and verbal direction.
• Forming metal using a hydraulic break press or manual box and pan.
• Manufacturing, installation, and repairs of conveyor systems (stainless steel and mild steel).
• Manual machining (drilling holes, slots, and keyways).
• Running CNC water jet and plasma tables is an asset.
• On site contracting in various settings (ability to match safety standard and follow customers safety procedures).
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of equipment failures and follow-up on feasibility of modifications.
• Ability to understand of layout principals and the correct methods of leveling of equipment.
• Working knowledge and practical work experience on different conveyor types like modular belt, PVC, and rubber.
• Knowledge of Preventive maintenance programs.

Equipment and machinery experience:
Experience with hand tools (grinder, drill, die grinder, various saws).
Experience with shop tools (various saws, welders, drill press, brake press, iron worker).
Working knowledge of Electrical/Hydraulic systems, gearboxes, VFD, drives and motors.
Knowledge of various plastics such as UHMW and Lexan.
