Job position: Material Handlers.

Payrate: $22 per hour for 40 hours of work per week. 

Job type: Full-time, Permanent.

Job location: Various locations in and around Calgary.

 

Job Requirements: 

Education: no education required. 

Experience: will train.

Language: English 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: 

Fast paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail, Work under pressure, physically demanding, handling heavy loads.

Job duties: 

Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.

Move household appliances and furniture onto and off moving trucks or vans.

Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking.

Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks.

Wrap goods.

Provide customer service.

Install, lash and secure goods.

May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
