The successful candidates will be performing the following duties on day-to-day basis:</p><p>- Perform general locksmith procedures which include:<br>o Installing, repairing, rebuilding and servicing mechanical, electrical or computerized locking devices<br>o Servicing and opening safes and vaults<br>- Emergency services concerning jammed locks and repair or replace worn tumblers, springs and other parts<br>- Install and set-up Access Control Systems and High Security Locks<br>- Insert new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination<br>- Cut new or duplicate keys and key cards (including fob access tabs)<br>- Generate master for key cards<br>- Replace hinges and re-align doors<br>- Disassemble door locks, pad locks and safe locks<br>- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment and clean the work area after completing services<br>- May be requested to coach and train other locksmiths and apprentices on some occassions</p><p>WHAT WE REQUIRE</p><p>- At least a high school diploma and 2 years of experience working with various locksmith procedures<br>- Excellent knowledge of Access Control Systems and automated lock mechanisms<br>- Great customer services skills<br>- Attention to details is required<br>- Good command of English language is mandatory<br>- Locksmith trade certification or other related certifications (asset)</p><p>WHAT WE OFFER</p><p>- Full-time, permanent position<br>- 30 hours of work per week, on-call and overtime shifts may be required (advance notification)<br>- Applicable overtime pay will apply after 44 hours/week<br>- Hourly rate starting at $27.00/hour<br>- Job location: Across Greater Toronto Area (all travel expenses will be covered by the company)</p>
