Land Use Planner

As a fast-growing company, Horizon Land Surveys is looking for a professional land use planner to help the company grow. Job is full-time and permanent with guaranteed 30 hours per week. Candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Compile and analyze data on factors affecting land use;
- Confer with appropriate authorities and interest groups to formulate and develop land use or community plans;
- Prepare and recommend land development concepts and plans for zoning, subdivisions;
- Present plans to civic, rural and regional authorities and hold public meetings;
- Review and evaluate proposals for land use and development plans and prepare recommendations;
- Process application for land development permits;
- Administer land use plans and zoning by-laws.

Job requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Experience: At least two years of relevant work experiences;
- Languages: English ability
- Others: Be able to work in a face-paced environment and attention to details; organized, team player, reliable, effective interpersonal skills;
