Job Description:

Location: Surrey, BC V3W 1Z1
Salary: 22.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Shifts: Evening, Night
Start date: As soon as possible!

Job Requirements:

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment: Confined spaces
Work setting: Kennel, Pet grooming shop

Responsibilities:

Tasks:
- Prepare food and feed animals
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
- Keep records of animals treated
- Supervise helpers
- Maintain and order supplies
- Monitor and document animal behaviors

Experience and specialization:

Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs.
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)

Additional information:

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods.
