Nature of position: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

Wage: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour (dependent on experience), with an overtime rate of $33.00 - $40.50 per hour above 40 hours per week

Vacation: 4% in lieu of paid vacation days

Language required: English, spoken and written

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:

• Duties include planning and constructing landscaped environments on commercial and residential construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland.
• Work in outdoor, all-weather conditions.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as shoveling dirt/gravel, moving pavers, wheel barrowing back and forth, digging trenches etc.
• Follow safety regulations on site and attend training programs as needed
• Regular interactions with foreman, co-workers, office staff as well as other trades and safety personnel will be required.
• May work under the supervision of landscapers at a senior level.

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:

• At least 6 months of landscaping experience is required.
• A level of physical fitness sufficient to perform the job duties is required.
• Applicant must be well-organized, professional and pay attention to detail.
• Demeanor and attitude appropriate for a client facing position is required.
