Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of the business that provides residential or commercial cleaning services.
• Establish or enforce policies and procedures for cleaning staff to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
• Plan and manage the budget and inventory, ensuring proper use of resources and availability of cleaning supplies.
• Must have cleaning skills which can be performed in the absence of supervisors.
• Inspects work performed to ensure it meets specifications and established standards.
• Communicate effectively, clearly explaining tasks to staff, managing time well, and prioritizing duties as needed.
• Address customers questions or concerns and resolve problems.
• Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they are properly instructed in janitorial methods, procedures, and the correct operation of cleaning equipment.
