Information Technology (IT) Project Manager Position at Immigration Management ‘Si-Won’

Immigration Management ‘Si-Won’ is a consulting agency specializing in immigration, education consulting, and recruitment services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Information technology (IT) Project manager to join our team.
Position: Information Technology (IT) Project Manager
Wage: $45.15 - $46.15 (Depending on working experience)
Working hours: 30 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay + Five Paid Sick days per year
Work Location: #300-1111 Melville Street, Vancouver BC V6E 3V6
Duties:
• Lead the design, testing, implementation, and ongoing oversight of IT systems critical to Si‑Won’s operations and service delivery.
• Collect and analyze system usage data to identify inefficiencies or gaps. Propose and implement enhancements to elevate performance and business impact.
• Review and evaluate existing IT platforms and internal workflows to ensure they meet operational needs, best practices, and organizational goals.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to uphold consistency, efficiency, and quality across all information systems.
• Develop and execute QA protocols and tests for both new and legacy systems, ensuring reliability, usability, and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
• Detect, document, and rectify system discrepancies, driving continuous system stability and underpinning business continuity.
• Conduct routine maintenance on computer systems, proactively preventing downtime and enhancing system longevity.
Qualification:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a computer programmer is usually required;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills;
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage budgets effectively;
• Working knowledge of English.
