Our hotel boasts 57 rooms with convenient outdoor entrances, ensuring easy access for our guests. Additionally, we offer free parking services, on-site restaurants, and a meeting room. Currently, we are looking for a qualified Housekeeping Manager to manage the daily operation of the housekeeping team at Bear Country Inn.

Job Title: Housekeeping Manager
Wage: $35.00 to $36.00 (Depending on Working Experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Benefit: 4% vacation pay or 10 business days of paid vacation
Working Location: 4702 Lakelse Ave, Terrace, B.C., V8G 1R6

Job Duties:
• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team.
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with departmental standards and health and safety regulations
• Plan and coordinate tasks for housekeeping team members.
• Maintain inventory and order equipment and supplies as needed.
• Maintain financial records and handle budgeting, payroll, and staff scheduling.
• Ensure equipment and machinery are functioning properly, and arrange repairs or maintenance when necessary
• Manage the hiring and training process and oversee housekeeping staff.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is usually required.
• At least 1+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role is required.
• Great team player and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills.
