Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeper
Term of Employment: Permanent/Full Time/ 30-40 hours per week
Compensation: $20 per hour. Overtime after 40 hours per week
Working Conditions: Job involves Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, weekends, on call, and holiday work.
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: English
Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home
Start Date: As soon as possible
Specific skills:
Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Dust furniture, Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, Make beds and change sheets, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Launder clothing and household linens, Pick up debris and empty trash containers, Help in removing snow on driveway and walkway in winter, Help in maintaining lawn and cutting grass in summer, Help in doing spring clean-up of the property when needed, Assist with preparing and serving meals
