Hiring a Produce Buyer

Qualifications:

- Completion of secondary school is required. (Having university degree or college diploma in relevant discipline is a definite asset.)
- Previous work experience at a wholesale company is required. (Familiar with the Korean & Asian produces at the produce wholesale company is an asset.)
- Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities:
- Select and purchase the Korean and Asian produces which best fits the company to resale
- Determine type of produces and quantity to purchase
- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers and negotiate prices and terms
- Maintain stock levels and report them to management

Working Condition:

- 30 working hours per week (Full-time & Permanent position), Wage: $28.85/hr, 10days paid vacation or 4% of vacation fee
- Flexible working hours is required including early morning & Saturday.
