Grease Trap Technician

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service is looking for a Full-Time Grease Trap Technician (NOC 65311)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Empty grease traps at various food service locations from grocery stores to restaurants
• Remove accumulated grease, fats, oils, and food debris from grease traps
• Inspect grease traps and interceptors to ensure they are functioning correctly and not clogged or damaged
• Properly dispose grease and waste materials according to local environmental regulations.
Job Requirements:
• Must have driver's license to travel to different sites. Class 1, 3 or 5 with air brakes preferred
• Must be willing to work overnight shifts
• Must be reliable and work well within a team
• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
• On-the-job training is provided
• Language in the workplace is English
Benefits:
• Annual wage of $45,760 to $58,240 (to be negotiated)
• Bonuses for Christmas
• Potential wage increases with experience, length of service, additional licences
• Extended benefits after 3 months: dental, extended medical, sick pay
