Esthetician - Laser Technician

Uptown Girl YYC is looking for an experienced Esthetician - Laser Technician to join us in Calgary, Alberta.

Salary: $22/hour

Responsibilities including:
• Prepare laser hair removal treatments for facial and other body parts.
• Using appropriate techniques and equipment for hair removal treatments
• Ensure the safety and comfort of customers during treatments with AHS standard
• Maintain the machine every day by following the manual
• Educate customers on the use of skin care products for at-home use
• Order supplies and fill up the products weekly
• Clean treatment rooms after treatments and sanitize materials between clients to ensure
the health and safety of clients are protected.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and handling customer
inquiries

Job requirements and qualifications:
• Completion of Secondary School is required
• Job-related college certificate or completion of beauty school programs combined with some experience or equivalent work experience for estheticians is required
• Certification as a Laser Technician is an asset
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Strong knowledge of laser hair removal procedures and equipment
• Excellent customer service skills are highly preferred
• Must have flexible availabilities including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Work well independently and with others
• Be physically capable of performing the required dudes and work on flexible hours by shift
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication skills
• Speak English, a second language is an asset
• Basic security clearance is required
