Electrician - RH Radiant Home

RH Radiant Home is looking for an experienced Electrician to join the team.

This is a permanent, full-time position; 40 hours per week; $27.50 per hour. Plus 4% vacation pay.

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, and specifications to determine wiring layout.
- Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
- Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems.
- Install underground wiring and cables.
- Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and replace electrical controls and panel boxes.
- Utilize test equipment to assess circuit continuity, ensuring system compatibility and safety following installation, replacement, or repair
- Install safety and distribution components, emergency lighting, electrical maintenance, electric outlet Installation, circuit breaker panel wiring.

Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- At least 2 years of previous work experience as an electrician;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Trade certification is an asset
- Red seal endorsement is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Able to travel to work at other locations as needed;
- English language ability is required.
