Fibertec’s fiberglass windows and doors provide durable, reliable, thermally efficient and cost-effective solutions for your home.</p><p>With the growing call for sustainable and quality window products and installations, our goal is to come up and provide Ontarians with innovative ideas that will make green window installation easy for all.</p><p>At this time, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our growing team.</p><p>As an Electrical Mechanic, you will perform the following duties:<br>• Conduct equipment tests to ensure smooth functioning and facilitate troubleshooting of the following components, as necessary: de-flashing and trimming technologies, transformers, generators, electrical and industrial switchgears, and other electrical components;<br>• Detect and repair any electro-mechanical issues in components and apparatus to ensure smooth functioning and operating conditions;<br>• Replace faulty wiring, tubes, shafts and commutators in a timely manner, as needed;<br>• Conduct assembly and testing of new electrical equipment;<br>• Rebuild/redesign electrical equipment in case of numerous issues affecting machinery operations and to ensure its functionality;<br>• Install new systems, especially those concerning line and manufacturing tracking technology;<br>• May provide weekly maintenance of machineries to ensure precision and consistency of production;<br>• Perform all above-mentioned duties in accordance with health and safety standards and company policies;<br>• Report to management on any safety hazards related to manufacturing process of electrical components in order to address them in a timely manner.</p><p>Qualifications and Education Requirements:<br>• College Diploma in Engineering, mechanical, or related course;<br>• 4 years of experience working in the same capacity, with at least 2 of them being related to troubleshooting and repair of various electro-mechanical gears and devices<br>• Good English language skills</p><p>Terms &amp; Conditions:<br>• Permanent, full time employment - 35 hours per week with an occasional need to work overtime (up to 44 hours per week)<br>• Compensation: $27.00 per hour. Overtime rate of 1 ½ of base pay or $40.50 will apply after 44 hours as per the Ontario ESA requirements.<br>• Work location: 615 Bowes Road, Unit #1, Concord, ON, L4K 1J5.</p><br><p></p>
