<p>Business: Di Gregorio Group of Companies<br>Title: Crane Operator, Mobile (7371)<br>Terms of employment: Permanent, full time<br>Business address: 4 Holland Drive, Unit 8-9, Bolton, ON L7E 1G1<br>Hours of work: 40 hours per week<br>Salary: $40.25 per hour<br>Benefits: Eligible for bonuses and/or salary increases.<br>Locations of work:<br>• Primary location: 57 Simpson Road, Bolton ON<br>• Secondary location: 204 Mapleview Drive West, Barrie ON<br>Contact: Applicants are to apply by email and are to send their resume and cover letter to general@dig-con.com<br>Duties:<br>• Perform a daily pre-inspection of equipment, record the results;<br>• Perform some preventative maintenance on equipment (I.e. greasing)<br>• Ensure piles are safely piled to avoid material from falling or piling down<br>• Able to interpret and use hand signals and voice to communicate with others<br>• Ability to perform various types of physical labour including moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), standing, bending, shoveling etc.<br>• Able to exercise good judgement in load handling, placement of equipment and material<br>• Able to interpret and use hand signals and voice to communicate with others<br>• Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials<br>• Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting<br>• May assemble tower cranes on site<br>• Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes<br>Qualifications:<br>• High school education<br>• Minimum five (5) years of experience operating a crane<br>• Hoisting Engineer Certification considered an asset<br>• Ability to work in construction environment (outdoor)<br>• Other valid certifications are considered an asset (i.e. Standard First Aid/CPR Training, licenses, working at heights)<br>• Must have problem solving, team oriented, communication and time management skills<br>• Eligible to obtain provincial license to drive mobile cranes on public roads<br>• Experience in operation of heavy equipment, considered an asset<br></p>
