Currently, we are looking for a full- time Cook at our Downtown location to join our team.

Position Title: Cook
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Wage: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Available early morning)
Benefit: 10 business days of paid vacation or 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook light meals and foods, including sandwiches, and wraps;
• Prepare and cook special meals according to the needs of customers;
• Monitor and maintain food inventory and records of food, beverage supplies, and equipment;
• Handle cleaning of the kitchen and work areas;
•Oversee daily kitchen activities and operations.
• Organize work schedules and oversee the tasks of kitchen staff as needed;
• Responsible for hiring and training new kitchen staff as needed.
• Ensure supplies are monitored, ordered and restocked;

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety OR More than 1+ year work experience in commercial kitchen would be a good asset, but not a mandatory requirement;
• Ability to work under fast-paced environment and great time management skills;
• Working knowledge of English.
