Duties:

• Assist workers like carpenter, roofers, glaziers, bricklayers, cement finishers etc.
• Erect and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barriers as needed.
• Sand walls
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Load and unload building supplies and move supplies to work areas
• Help heavy equipment operators in construction activities
• Assist in demolishing building, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Responsibilities also include clean up, operate various equipment, and perform other activities at the construction site, as directed
• Follow safety regulations and direct traffic at working sites
