Description: Cleaning supervisors oversee workers in light duty cleaning. Specialized cleaning, and janitorial roles. They work in diverse settings including healthcare facilities, hospitality, educational institutions, commercial and industrial establishments, and cleaning companies, managing both residential and office cleaning operations.
Job Location: Abbotsford, BC
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Position: Permanent - Full Time
Number of Openings: 2
Wage: $30.00/hr.
Language: English is required.
Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners.
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, replacement of equipment.
• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• May perform certain cleaning duties.
