Childcare Provider

We are a close-knit family that values kindness, learning, and playfulness. Our two children are full of energy and curiosity. We are looking for someone who can provide them with the love, care, and attention they need while we're at work.

What We’re Looking For:
As our childcare provider, you will play a vital role in our children's lives. Your responsibilities will include engaging them in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety, preparing simple meals, and creating a nurturing atmosphere within the comfort of our home.
• Supervise and care for children in our own residence;
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties;
• Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed;
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;
• Instruct children in personal hygiene;
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development;
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents;
• Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings;
• Take children to and from school and appointments;
• May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• Proven experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role, with at least 7 months of experience working with children of various ages;
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other household members;
• Ability to set a positive example through personal behavior, attitude, and language.

What We Offer:
• Starting rate of pay is $17.50 per hour;
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location of Work: Woodbrige, Ontario
