Position: Cabinetmaker’s Helper
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Part Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
Wage Rate: $25.00 Hourly for 30-40 Hours per week (Overtime applicable after 40 hours in a week)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible

Experience: Paid on-the-job training provided; no experience required
Language: English
Specific Skills:
• Gather material for cabinetmakers and supervisors to handle on job sites
• Keep job sites clean and machines serviced
• Cut wood and lumber to specified dimensions
• Load and unload materials and move materials to work areas
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
• Hold timbers, lumber and panelling in place for fastening or cutting
• Perform other relevant labour tasks as required
Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices, maintain clean and safe work environment, Manual Dexterity, Attention to detail
