Job Responsibilities
• Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for the project and specifically related to cabinetry and storage solutions.
• Arrange site visits and take measurements.
• Develop plans that incorporate cabinet design concepts, layout, and storage solutions, and advise on the selection of colors, finishes, materials, and accessories to create a cohesive look and feel.
• Recommend and advise materials, hardware, and decorative items from company inventory for the cabinets, and source items from external resources based on client requirements and expectations.
• Prepare presentations and budget details via company in-house software, and close deals.
• Communicate with the factory, vendors, and the site work crew to manage project timelines, and provide timely updates to the clients.
• Attend tradeshows/home shows to stay current with trends, new ideas, and styles in the industry.

Experience and Education Requirements
• Completion of a college certificate or diploma in interior decoration, architecture or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is required
• One or more years of experience in the related field is an asset
