Chipco Canada Inc. is dedicated to entrepreneurship and commercialization of technologies. We are currently investing and hold worldwide distribution rights in Predictive Systems Engineering Ltd. which provides monitoring systems for detecting and diagnosing flaws in industrial and commercial equipment.

ABOUT VACANCY
At this time, we are looking to hire an experienced individual for a position of Budget Officer to join our team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare budget estimates based on analyses of past and current years and provide them to management for approval
- Advise management on proper and effective utilization of all financial resources, as well as on matters related to budgeting
- Ensure that transactions, budgets and overall finances are maintained in a consistent manner
- Analyze trends affecting budget needs and costs during previous fiscal years and provide recommendations for budget revisions
- Prepare a variety of financial statements and annual budget reports
- Monitor expenditures
- Perform other bookkeeping duties, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a college program in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field; OR completion of courses in accounting/ bookkeeping combined with minimum 3 years of related experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and communication skills

WORK CONDITIONS
- Permanent, full-time position
- $24.50 per hour
- 35 hours of work per week
- Overtime pay ($36.75/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
- Work location: 7825 Bayview Ave, Suite 510, Thornhill ON L3T 7N2
