Currently, we are looking for a full- time Baker at our South Common location to join our team.

Position Title: Baker
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Wage: $18.50 – 19.50 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Available early morning, evening, or weekends)
Benefit: 10 business days of paid vacation or 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Bake prepared doughs and batters;
• Prepare dough for breads, pies, rolls, pastries, and sweet goods, batters for cakes, cookies, muffins, and icings or frostings, following recipes or custom orders;
• Verify that finished goods meet quality standards;
• Add finishing touches like frosting or glazing or decorate cakes or other baked products as needed;
• Plan production schedules to decide the types and amounts of baked goods to be made;
• Monitor stock of baking supplies and place an order as needed;
• Responsible for training, and supervising new baking staff.
• Supervise display and sale of baked products as needed;

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required;
• Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers OR Completion of a college or other program for bakers OR Several years of commercial baking experience is usually required.
• Attention to detail and great time management skills;
• Working knowledge of English.
