Job Location: Vancouver International Airport, Richmond, BC, V7B 1K6

Salary: $28.85-$30/hour; salary increases as per company policy

Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, full-time (40 to 48h/week); Night Shift, Weekend, Overtime

Requirements:

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience: 1 year of related experience

Area of specialization: Cleaning, Supervising

Supervision: Working groups, up to 30 people

Work setting: Airport terminal, Airport ramp

Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty. Outdoors

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in cleaning the interiors and exteriors of airplanes.
• Hire and train cleaning staff.
• Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.
• Observe work procedures and inspect completed work to ensure adherence to efficiency, safety standards, and quality of work.
• Equipping the aircraft cabin for flight according to specifications with equipment and cabin servicing supplies.
• Stocking and maintaining cabin services kit and other associated duties.
• Stocking the vehicles used in the grooming function.
• Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities with those of other departments.
• Ensuring compliance with established Company and customer safety/security policies and procedures.
• Maintain a working relationship with customers and provide prompt responses to service requests.
• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning the interior of the aircraft, cleaning the aircraft galley and floors, vacuum or sweeping the interior passenger cabin.
