JOB DESCRIPTION

</p><p>We are seeking a customer-focused Warehouse Manager for an excellent full-time opportunity with a growing commercial company in Calgary, Alberta.</p><p>This key member of the team will manage the warehouse operations and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities while ensuring high-quality standards and working directly with customers and crews.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction being the primary goal;<br>Receive, unload and complete inspections/paper works on all vendor delivery trucks;<br>Cut, label and assemble full customer orders for next business day;<br>Cut, pick, and pack orders as needed for immediate sale during any workday;<br>Operate forklifts and cutter in a safe and efficient manner;<br>Regularly inspect and maintain all equipment necessary to perform the job;<br>Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures;<br>Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols;<br>Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system;<br>Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement;<br>Achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times;<br>Working closely with both the customers and crews;<br>Effectively coordinate with crews to have customer projects installed on time;<br>Perform administrative tasks and follow up diligence to ensure correction installation was completed.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Can-do approach with a strong work ethic and customer-focused approach;<br>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse;<br>Ability to plan, follow up, and track multiple projects;<br>Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills;<br>Positive attitude, dependable, and team player skills;<br>Previous experience operating a forklift;<br>Previous experience and comfort working with a computer is required;<br>Valid driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract will be a requirement.</p>
