Founded in 2016, by our parent company Match-Light based in Beijing, we are the result of a successful collaboration between the government of British Columbia and the Ministry of International Trade of Beijing. We specialize in forging and refining games aimed for e-sport and mass entertainment.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:<br>• Plan, direct, and monitor the overall game design direction and collaborate with each team to ensure all design, technical and narrative elements are aligned<br>• Estimate and review the project budget and timeline to support the company’s decision making<br>• Guide and support the design team to develop game features including storyline, characters, gameplay rule, combat system, AI behaviors, and level of difficulties, etc.<br>• Work with the art team to ensure the art and visual effects are consistent with the design concept<br>• Collaborate with the production and technical teams in programing, digital editing, testing, and postproduction<br>• Direct post-release technical support and updates through improving, adding, or removing components based on user gameplay feedbacks<br>• Provide mentoring and training to the junior game designers to support develop their professions<br>• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and game design technologies through studying and networking</p><p>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in the performing arts, broadcasting, journalism, business administration, theatre production, or film studies is required<br>• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in game production<br>• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and meet the project deadline<br>• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.<br>• Good knowledge of the industry trend and have a passion for video games</p>
