</p><p>Vice President of Operations<br><br>EQ Consulting Inc. is a global financial and FinTech company serving the world's leading financial institutions in the United States, Canada, Europe and China. EQ delivers business consulting, system development and on-site financial services management. We are experts in derivative trading, commodity trading, FX, hedging, asset management/portfolio management, asset-liability management, risk management, and their related systems and technologies. We also assist start-up companies with end-to-end solutions from raising capital, establishing methodologies, technology solutions, compliance - FX and commodity trading and risk management, analysis, due diligence, IPO and reporting.<br><br>For the last few years, EQ has been expanding rapidly into China and seeking additional capital injections to support its continued growth. To this end, EQ requires a Vice President of Operations. The primary mandates for this position are to restructure and direct the company's operations to ensure EQ can attract investor capital for even more significant growth:<br><br>-Acts as the primary point of contact to solidify business relationships in China. Focuses on capital raising and strategic advisory for private and public companies that are existing clients and prospects of the company by covering comprehensive advisory services, technology products and end-to-end solutions.<br><br>-Develops the overall strategic direction in client retention, sustainable growth, and revenue optimization by leading industry research in China/Canada and supporting sourcing to maximize operational efficiency.<br><br>-Directs and presents the timely view of the company's positioning and objectives to internal and external audiences through key shareholder meetings, regular and ad hoc meetings, and other personal contacts.<br><br>-Provides superior day-to-day functions to implement strategic initiatives, pursue international market opportunities through Chinese and Chinese-Canadian market operations and targeted client coverage.<br><br>-Selects and organizes the team of investment specialists, business managers, project managers, and senior staff and leads the team to execute capital markets transactions in all stages while fundamentally increasing EQ Consulting's attractiveness to venture capitalists, investment firms, and potential mergers/acquisitions.<br><br>-Collaborates throughout the company in establishing the capital raising strategy, internal operating plan, budgeting, and the detailed execution operation plan on targeted investor relationship development.<br><br>-Oversees company venture investment materials' formation and development, ensures accuracy and due diligence of presented financial figures, successes records, and ongoing projects.<br><br>-Represents EQ Consulting in negotiations through capital raising and funding series, including initial prospecting, company investment Q&A process, and marketing materials.<br><br>-Liaises with internal and external parties on complex transactions with Chinese investors, including lawyers and accountants from international counterparts.<br><br>The ideal candidate must have:</p><p>Education:<br>A university degree or an equivalent combination of university training and experience in accounting, finance, economics or related field.</p><p>Work experience:<br>-Over 10 years' experience in private equity, leveraged finance, venture capitalists, mergers and acquisitions at one or more reputable organizations are essential.<br>-Over 5 years' experience in a senior management role in China, by attracting investors to raise capital, lead funding rounds, and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.<br><br>Skills and other requirements:<br>-Existing reliable business network of venture capitalists, private equity firms, financial institutions and other investors willing to invest in the FinTech industry.<br>-Proficient in presenting and communicating multifaceted ideas to large groups and senior management levels prospective investors from China.<br>-Proven record of corporate leadership, coaching and talent development ability<br>-Ability to develop and maintain strong business and community networks<br>-Outstanding analytical skills to assess investment opportunities.<br>-Able to accommodate unpredictable and last-minute international travel.<br><br>Job Type: Permanent, full-time<br>Work hours: 37.5 hours per week<br>Salary: CAD $62 per hour<br>Business Address/Location of work: 7191 Yonge Street, Suite 502, Thornhill, Ontario, ON L3T 0C4</p>
