We offer our clients advice based on individual or group situations after conducting in-depth needs analyses.</p><p>Business Address/Location of Work: Suite 209-211, 218 Export Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario, L5S 0A7</p><p>Nature of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time</p><p>Hours: 40 hours per week</p><p>Salary: $52.08 per hour</p><p>Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay</p><p>Number of Positions: 1</p><p>Language: English</p><p>Job Summary: The Vice President – Business Development is responsible for locating new business opportunities, agents, and clients for InsureU. The Vice President – Business Development will assist with our company’s growth and increase our market position by strategically developing customer and agent networks for our products and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership, marketing, and management experience, as well as an excellent organizational vision.</p><p>Job Responsibilities:<br>• Develop, execute, and manage strategic plans to increase business opportunities, sales channels, and client networks for InsureU;<br>• Establish and implement InsureU’s objectives for long-term growth and present recommendations for business development;<br>• Set and coordinate internal business development policies, practices, and objectives and delegate resources and personnel accordingly;<br>• Locate and facilitate the recruitment of new agents, and assist in developing them for field sales;<br>• Develop and execute marketing campaigns and product training programs designed to increase existing agents’ sales;<br>• Collaborate with insurance company business associates to develop new sales strategies and create new product and service offerings;<br>• Identify and pursue business expansion opportunities by discovering and contacting potential new clients and negotiating contracts;<br>• Expand existing client relationships by locating and implementing new business opportunities;<br>• Promote InsureU products and services accordingly in response to client needs;<br>• Create promotional materials and conduct presentations to prospective clients;<br>• Conduct regular meetings with clients and business associates in-person or remotely;<br>• Conduct and document industry research and follow trends to evaluate options for market growth;<br>• Represent InsureU at conferences, trade shows, and networking events;<br>• Participate in regular performance, revenue, and profitability reviews with other senior-level staff members;<br>• Conduct regular meetings to review team performance; and<br>• Other duties as required.</p><p>Minimum Skills Requirements:<br>• A university degree in business administration, accounting, commerce, or a related field is required;<br>• At least five (5) years of experience in a managerial position is required;<br>• At least three (3) years of experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role is required;<br>• Experience and working proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required;<br>• Must be dependable, reliable and have effective interpersonal and communication skills.</p>
