Ltd. dba Tranquille Road Animal Hospital<br>Job Type: Full Time, Permanent<br>Job Location: 456 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, BC, V2B 3H2<br>Salary: CAD 18.50 per hour<br>Positions Available: 3</p><p>Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities<br>Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding</p><p>Personal Suitability<br>Team player, Judgement, Excellent written communication, Accurate, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Client focus</p><p>Job Description:</p><p>• Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery,<br>• Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery,<br>• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian,<br>• Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian,<br>• Counsel clients on animal health care,<br>• Conduct and assist in laboratory research,<br>• Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests,<br>• Veterinary office management,<br>• Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry,<br>• Provide wound and bandage care,<br>• Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals</p><p>Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years<br>Experience: 1 to 2 years<br>Language: English<br>Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible<br>Relocation Costs will be covered by Employer</p>
