(“Pride Pak”) in 1984 to service what he saw as a need to meet Canada’s growing trend for high quality, healthy, easy to use fresh food. We now proudly operate as Canada’s largest fresh fruit and vegetable processor from a state-of-the-art facility in Mississauga. In 2006 we opened our second facility Pride Pak Nfld. Ltd, which processes fresh fruit and vegetables for the Province of Newfoundland.<br>Please note that our Production areas are refrigerated to 5°C (40°F), and employees are required to dress accordingly. We are willing to train the right individuals, and offer opportunities for advancement and a competitive benefits package.<br>If you would like to join our team, please email your resume to humanresources@pridepak.com<br>The following opportunity is available:<br>Vegetable Grinder Operators (10 positions)<br>The ideal candidates will have the drive to learn and excel in the field – we are looking for someone who has good understanding of food processing standards specifically in the fruit and vegetable production industry. On-the-job training would be provided!<br>Job Duties:<br> Set up and adjust food processing and fresh cut packaging machines (vegetables)<br> Operate single-function machines to cut and grate or otherwise process fresh cut products<br> Operate single-function machines to box or otherwise package food products (vegetables)<br> Check products to ensure conformance to company standards and product specifications<br> Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products packaged<br> Perform corrective machine adjustments, clean and sanitize machines and immediate work areas<br>Requirements:<br> Good understanding of food and fresh cut processing, experience would be a great asset - On-the-job training would be provided<br> High-school diploma or equivalent<br> Good English language skills<br> Ability to work in fast-paced environment<br>Compensation:<br> This is a full-time, temporary position (2 years) with at least 40 hours of work per week<br> Hourly rate of $16.00, overtime rate of $24.00 applies after 44 hours of work per week<br> Medical, Dental, and Disability benefits<br> Work Location: 6768 Financial Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5N 7J6<br>Please visit our website at <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://pridepak.com/index.html">https://pridepak.com/index.html</a> to know more about our products, services, and other employment opportunities!</p></div>
