</p><p>DRIVERS REQUIRED<br>Location: Abbotsford, BC, V4X 0B8<br>Salary: $25.50 to $27.00 / hour (To be negotiated)<br>Vacancies: 4<br>Employment groups: Students, Youth, Newcomers to Canada, Apprentices<br>Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 32 to 40 hours / week<br>Start date: As soon as possible<br>Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Night</p><p>Job requirements<br>Languages: English<br>Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma<br>Experience: No experience<br>Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone<br>Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer, Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel overnight<br>Work Location Information: Various locations<br>Personal Suitability: Organized<br>Additional Skills: Mountain driving expertise<br>Communication Systems Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio<br>Documentation Knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trip reports, Maintenance and repair reports, Bill of lading, Driver logbook.<br>Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.<br>Transportation/Travel Experience: Long-haul<br>Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer<br>Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)</p><p>Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1 or A)</p>
