The result is a team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals dedicated to the satisfaction of our customers.</p><p>We are currently searching for a Truck and Transport Mechanic who will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components of commercial transport vehicles and trucks.</p><p>Job Details<br>• Location: Surrey, BC V3V 4G6<br>• Salary: $27.00 / hour<br>• Vacancies: 1 vacancy<br>• Employment groups: Youth, Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Visible minorities, Persons with disabilities, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada<br>• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time; 40 hours / week<br>• Start date: As soon as possible<br>• Employment conditions: Morning, Day</p><p>Job Requirements<br>• Language requirements: English<br>• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in a related field of study<br>• Experience: 2-3 years of professional work experience in a similar role<br>• Exercise good judgement, accuracy and attention to detail</p><p>Specific Skills &amp; Responsibilities<br>• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions<br>• Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit<br>• Repair or replace mechanical units or components<br>• Test and adjust units to specifications<br>• Complete reports to record problems and work performed<br>• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems<br>• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems</p>
