The Territory Manager is tasked with driving the success of a sales territory, department, and the people within it. Driven by a passion to deliver, lead by our values, be fearlessly proactive and create valuable relationships built on confidence. You will be managing a team of account managers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers, you will consistently achieve growth targets and develop the sales territory within Canada, and will oversee the regional and divisional sales operations within your specific area. You will collaborate with other territory leads and members of the partner sales team to make a critical impact.</p><p>About the Role:<br>- Work with other territory leads to establish procedures to develop sales management within the team<br>- Ensure development of business and territory strategies and strategic planning to ensure individual sales people are successful in achieving targets<br>- Lead and drive your team to deliver partner events, engage with partners effectively and efficiently, manage their sales territory including engagement planning, forecasting and execution<br>- People management, including, hiring, coaching, performance management, professional skills development and career progression<br>- Monitor quality, consistency, and values alignment of all sales processes and activities<br>- Actively participate in the sales team and make a positive contribution to the strategic direction, people development and overall culture of Xero<br>- Cross functional engagement with education, partner services, marketing and enablement to action our go-to-market strategy</p><p>Skills/qualifications required:<br>• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in sales management or marketing management required<br>• 2+ years experience working with a cloud accounting platform software company<br>• 3+ years experience in a SaaS environment in the sales function<br>• 2+ years proven record of successful sales attainment and people management experience<br>• 3-4 years experience managing sales or marketing projects<br>• 2+ years experience executing with cross functional teams<br>• 2+ years experience managing, coaching or mentoring team members in an informal or formal capacity<br>• 2+ years experience working with the following technologies: Salesforce, Asana, Marketing Cloud, Miro and Trello<br>• 2+ years experience in public speaking to large audiences<br>• Ability to quickly create a strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders<br>• Knowledge of the accounting and bookkeeping industry, contacts, and network<br>• Ability to quickly create a strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders</p><p>Location of work: 250 University Avenue Suite 400 Toronto, ON M5H 3E5 Canada</p><p>Language of work: English</p><p>Annual base salary: CAD $97,000.00 to CAD $118,000.00</p><p>Benefits:<br>-Commission of up to CAD $40,000 per annum<br>-Health and dental insurance coverage<br>-STD & LTD insurance plans<br>-21 days per year of vacation</p>
