Thank you for all resumes that we receive; however, we will only contact candidates that have been selected for interview.</p><p>Main Duties:</p><p>• Uses measuring tools to measure bodies and fabrics to fit clothes to individual customers.<br>• Records measurements and perform measurement operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) to ensure proper fit of garments<br>• Alters garment and joins parts, using needle and thread or sewing machine, to form finished garment.<br>• Confers with customer to determine type of material and garment style desired.<br>• Positions pattern of garment parts on fabric, and cuts fabric along outlines, using scissors.<br>• Opens seams to hem garments and to make other alterations<br>• Provides customers with cost estimates for the construction of customized garments.</p><p>Qualifications &amp; skills:</p><p>• Completion of secondary education is an asset,<br>• 1-2 years of related work experience,<br>• Professionalism is a good asset,<br>• Good interpersonal and communication skills.</p>
