</p><p>Business Address: 370 Stone Road W Box 25017., Guelph, ON N1G 4V9</p><p>Terms of Employment: Full-Time; Permanent</p><p>Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible</p><p>Job Duties:</p><p>- Developing and executing programs suitable for Competitive Senior Groups, Master’s Program and Lifesaving;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development to further develop and implement annual comprehensive swimming strategies that identify the best technical training programs to elevate all levels of swimmers;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development and General Manager to plan for upcoming seasons;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development and General Manager to create a well-rounded meet schedule for the athletes and to integrate into the historical hosted meet schedule;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development and General Manager to develop, execute and adjust hosted meet schedule and events;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development on a published mentorship program/schedule for all coaches who are direct reports;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development and General Manager to recruit and retain coaches to run programs effectively within the annual budget guidelines;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development on yearly reviews of coaches who are direct reports;</p><p>- Working with the General Manager to resolve member complaints in a fair and responsible manner by utilizing operating policies as guidance;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group to prepare monthly report submissions and present to the GMAC Board of Directors;</p><p>- Working collaboratively with the Director of Age Group Development and General Manager to conduct annual club equipment inventory audit;</p><p>- Leading a team of 10 direct reports and overseeing and assisting with coaching as required;</p><p>- Maintaining accurate records for swimmers, including in relation to their progression;</p><p>- Updating Meet Manager based on established timelines;</p><p>- Attending staff meetings on a regular basis;</p><p>- Establishing positive professional relationship with swimmers, parents, community and other coaches and contributing to weekly family communications as required; and</p><p>- Serving as a role model for youth and creating a fun and inviting learning environment to encourage growth and retention.</p><p>Skill Requirements:</p><p>- Completion of NCCP Age Group Coach Certified Level 2 (or equivalent certification).</p><p>- Completion of NLS and Standard First Aid Certifications.</p><p>- At least ten (10) years of a combination of coaching and managerial and/or leadership role of swimming programs</p><p>- At least 2 years of managerial and/or leadership role of swimming programs</p><p>- At least 5 years of coaching and/or leadership role of competition at the international level</p><p>- Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently.</p><p>- Exceptional oral communications, including in relation to communications with swimmers, staff and parents.</p><p>- Demonstrated history of the technical and training aspects of competitive swimming.</p><p>Language of Work: English</p><p>Hours of Work: 40 hours per week; Must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling as will be required to work mornings, evenings and weekends and attend swim meets on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.</p><p>Salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00</p><p>Benefits: Eligible for the following:</p><p>- Participation in extended health benefits plan;</p><p>- Continuing professional development with fees covered up to $1,000.000 annually; and</p><p>- Reimbursement of all swim travel-related expenses.</p><p>Location of Work: Guelph, Ontario</p>
