Choose us for services you can trust.</p><p>THE POSITION:<br>Our services are expanding, and we are currently seeking two experienced Small Appliance Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.<br>In this position, you will be responsible for the following duties:</p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>• Repair small electrical appliances, such as lawn and garden equipment and power tools in clients’ homes, offices or in repair shop.<br>• Consult clients or refer to work order to establish roots of the malfunction.<br>• Diagnose faults by conducting voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment.<br>• Refer to schematic diagrams or product manuals and disassemble appliance using hand tools.<br>• Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming tools to repair appliances.<br>• Replace or repair parts or components using hand tools and soldering equipment.<br>• Prepare estimates and written accounts of work performed.</p><p>REQUIREMENTS:<br>• Specialized college or high school courses or several months of on-the-job training.<br>• At least 1 year of work experience in the same capacity.<br>• Technical knowledge and understanding of various appliances.<br>• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical consumers.<br>• High level of integrity and work ethic.<br>• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.</p><p>CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:<br>• Full-time, permanent position consisting of at least 35 weekly work hours<br>• The remuneration will be set at $25.00 per hour<br>• Occasional overtime may be required for meeting critical deadlines. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half time the regular pay rate<br>• Work Location: Client’s sites or 411 Confederation Parkway, Unit #13, Concord, ON, L4K 0A8</p>
