Our certified technicians also offer access control and CCTV options for your convenience as well as appliance repair and maintenance services.</p><p>We are a fast-paced, fast growing company and are looking to continue the consistency of growth by hiring a skilled Locksmith for a permanent, full-time employment.</p><p>In this position, you will be responsible for the following duties:<br>- Install, repair, rebuild and service mechanical, electrical or computerized locking devices<br>- Disassemble locks and repair or replace worn tumblers, springs and other parts<br>- Open and repair automobile and home locks<br>- Install and fix Access Control Systems and High Security Locks<br>- Insert new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination<br>- Cut new or duplicate keys and key cards; generate master for key cards<br>- Replace hinges and re-align doors<br>- Service, change and open safes and vaults<br>- Disassemble door locks, pad locks and safe locks<br>- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment and clean the work area after completing services<br>- Coach and train other locksmiths and apprentices on the regular duties</p><p>Successful candidates must possess the following:</p><p>- Some high school courses and at least 2 years of previous experience in the position of Locksmith performing similar duties<br>- Excellent knowledge of Access Control Systems and automated lock mechanisms is mandatory<br>- Ability to work both in a team and individually<br>- Great communication skills, team spirit and client focus<br>- Manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors<br>- Attention to details is required<br>- Willing to travel around GTA to provide on-site services<br>- Good command of English language is mandatory</p><p>Assets:</p><p>- Locksmith trade certification</p><p>Conditions:<br>- Full-time, permanent position<br>- 40 hours of work per week<br>- Overtime work may be required for dealing with emergency requests<br>- Applicable overtime pay will apply after 44 hours/week<br>- On-call, shift availability (will be notified in advance)<br>- Compensation: $27.00/hour<br>- Location: 411 Confederation Prkw, Unit 13, Concord ON L4K 0A8, but you will be required to travel to customers’ premises<br>- All travel expenses will be covered by the company</p>
