Sudbury’s main industry is iron ore production and it has a large Francophone population.</p><p>Salary: $33.74/hr, union position</p><p>Benefits:<br>A comprehensive benefits package and group savings plan.<br>Tuition reimbursement and additional paid apprentice leave.<br>Leadership and development program.</p><p>Education:<br>Successfully completed Grade 12.<br>Must possess a valid Gas Technician ‘2’ (G2) license.<br>313D Apprentice with the possibility of writing the C of Q exam within 30 months.<br>Valid ODP certificate.<br>Hold a valid Class G driver’s license and clean abstract.<br>Experience: 3+ years of HVAC experience is a considerable asset.</p><p>Skills and Abilities:<br>Willing and able to work rotating shifts as required.<br>Physically capable of performing all work required of this position.<br>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.<br>Understand/learn new technologies (ie. Electronics/ electricity).<br>Willing to wear the company-provided uniform.<br>Criminal background check required.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:<br>Professionally install HVAC equipment, accessory items, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.<br>Successfully obtain HVAC leads and enroll CPP to company performance targets.<br>Adhere to all safety rules.<br>Explain the benefits of newer high efficient equipment to the customer.<br>Maintain company vehicle to a neat clean and safe standard.<br>Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance.<br>Creating a positive relationship with customers; offer for sale other company products and services.<br>Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.</p>
