With over 30 years of roofing experience and Canada’s only CertainTeed Diamond certified roofing company, our clients have high expectations of our services and we always deliver on our promises. Our business is growing, and we need 9 Roofers to join our team.</p><p>These are full-time, permanent positions working 40 hours per week. The successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 months of work experience in the Roofing industry. We work mainly in the areas of steep slope, asphalt, cedar shake, and tile roofing systems for residential clients (includes single &amp; multi-family homes). You will also have experience in installation of gutters, soffit and fascia. The salary starts at $27-$35 per hour depending on experience. We offer medical and dental benefits after 3 months of employment.</p><p><strong>Duties include:</strong><br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Install, repair and replace roofing systems using various materials<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Take measurements to calculate the quantities of materials needed<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Replace damaged or rotting fascia boards or plywood<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Install underlayment’s<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ensure safety protocols are followed<br>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Operate power tools safely and with precision</p><p><strong>Education and Training Required:</strong><br>– Must have a minimum of 6 months of roofing experience<br>– The job is physically demanding (must be able to lift at least 80 lbs)<br>– Must be safety conscious and not be afraid of heights<br>– Must have own safety boots<br>– Must have clean criminal record<br>– Must be available to work overtime when required<br>– Must be able to speak English but reading and writing is not required</p>
